                                                                   Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the trinity.  We believe that God is represented in the person of the Father, the person of the Son and the person of the Holy Ghost. (Mt. 28:19; 3:16, 17; Jn 14:16)

We believe that God is revealed to us in the whole person of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is revealed to us in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We accept no other gospels and no other God. (Jn 14:9; Heb 1:1-3)

We believe in the doctrine of substitution. Jesus Christ was our substitution on the cross as He died in our place for our sins that we might be forgiven. (Isa 53:4-6; Heb 9:28; 1Pet 2:24; 1Jo 2:2)

We believe that Jesus is the only way to a relationship with God by believing in the atonement of the cross, His resurrection from the tomb and confessing Him openly as Lord and savior of your life. (Jn 6:35,47; 10:9; 14:6; Rom 10:9-11)

We believe in water baptism as a command, a precedent and a symbol of the old man of sin being buried with Christ and the new man being resurrected with Christ. (Mt 3:13-17; 28:19; Acts 2:38; 16:32-34; 8:35-38; 10:47,48; rom 6:4; Col 2:12)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Mk 16:17; Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:6)

We believe in the operation of all nine gifts of the Holy Spirit as the Holy Spirit sees fit to manifest them through us. (1 Cor 12:1-11)

We believe in prayer cloths.  Prayer clothes are pieces of cloth that we annoint with oil and pray over concerning the need of someone that's not there and then send to the person in need believing that the anointing of that prayer will be transferred to them through the cloth. (Acts 19:11-12)

We believe  in miracles, an occurrence wrought by God that is above man and violates the laws of nature. (Mark 16:17-20; Jn 14:12; 1Cor 12:10,28,29)

We believe in the laying on of hands for prayer, healing, prophecy and impartation. (Mt 8:3; 9:18,25; 19:13-15; Mk 7:32-35; 6:5; 10:16; 16:18; Lk 4:40; Acts 9:17; 6:1-7; 8:17; 13:3; 28:8; 1 Tim 4:14; 2 Tim 1:6; Heb 6:1,2)

We believe in the giving and recieving of tithes (Ge 14:18-20; 28:20-22 Le 27:30 Mal 3:8-12 Math 23:23 Heb 7:8)

We believe in the casting out of demons (Math 8:16; 10:1; 10:18; 12:28 Mr 1:39; 3:14-15; 5:13; 16:17 Lu 4:36; 6:17-18; 13:32 Acts 5:16; 8:7; 16:18; 19:12)

We believe in the free expression of praise and worship as long as it's modest, in order and in the bounds of the word of God.  Some expressions of praise and worship may include:

Lifting our hands (Ps 63:4)

Clapping of hands (Ps 47:1)

Speaking in other tongues (1 Cor 14)

Singing in other tongues (1 Cor 14:15)

Praying and praising God audibly (Ps 63:3; 34:1-3)

Shouting unto the Lord (Ps 32:11; Joshua 6:1-5)

Dancing unto the Lord (Ps 149:3; 150:4; 2 Sam 6:16)

Giving thanks (Ps 107:21-22; 136:1-9; 1 Cor 15:57)

Laughter (Eccl. 3:4; Ps 126:2; Job 8:21)

Joy (Ps 16:11; 42:4; Isa 52:9; 55:12)

Weeping in the Holy Spirit (Ps 6:8; 84:2)

Standing in awe of His Presence (Ps 4:4; 33:8)
