                                            Our Roots

The church was founded by Pastor Shaun’s grandparents, Bailey and Lillian Relliford under the name of Bethel Pentecostal Church in 1969.  They pastored for a short while and then the church was passed on to Pastor Shaun’s mother, Sister Yvonne Campbell who pastored it for fifteen years.  In June of 2001, God placed Pastor Shaun and Sister Lisa into the leadership of the church.

Pastor Shaun and Sister Lisa have a strong anointing on their lives that has come from standing firm in their faith even through the hardest times.  They have been married for eight years; have three children a son and two daughters and five children waiting for them in Heaven.

Pastor Shaun was called to be a minister at the age of seventeen.  He is an ordained minister who has been preaching the Gospel now for 13 years.  He has also written several songs for the Lord and has been anointed to play many instruments.  The gifts of the Spirit are very evident in Pastor Shaun’s life to uplift and edify the Body of Christ.

Sister Lisa has a passion for women who have troubled pregnancies or who have lost children.  Through her experience, she has been able to minister to many women who have needed emotional healing.

We changed the church’s name to Breaking Chains Worship Center in 2005.  We feel this best describes what has taken place and is going to take place in this church; the liberation of lives from every bondage that holds them down.
